We have 3 Senior Practice Nurses, who perform general nursing duties including; taking cervical smears, managing minor illness conditions and running specialised clinics. We also have 5 nursing Healthcare Assistants who take blood pressures, do blood tests, ECGs and run the INR and cardiovascular screening clinics. We have a resident Phlebotomist and also a visiting phlebotomist service.

Practice Nurse Manager

Sarah has many years nursing experience, the last 17 years in practice nursing, where she has developed a keen interest in asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, sexual health and family planning. Sarah is also able to undertake children's immunisations, travel vaccinations/queries, wound management, women's health, mental health and minor illnesses. Sarah manages the nursing team, seeking to support their learning and development to provide a motivated, professional and caring team.SR Pic 

Nurse Donna Butler (f)

RGN, RM, Dip Family Planning and Sexual Health, Mental Health, Asthma.

Donna qualified as a Registered General Nurse in West Lothian, Scotland in 1982 and qualified as a Registered Midwife in Fife, Scotland in 1986. As well as general practice nursing duties and minor illness, Donna has specialised in asthma management, smoking cessation, mental health, contraception and takes cervical smears, epilepsy, leg ulcer management and childhood immunisations. 20140619_120316.jpg

Nickie Apperly (f)
Nickie is trained to give B12 injections, perform blood pressure checks, blood tests, INR's, ECG's and can advise patients who would like to give up smoking. Nickie also, assists with minor ops (such as the removal of stitches) and helps Dr Smellie in the Women's Health Clinic. 20140619_123930.jpg
