Flu
Once again this year we have different flu vaccines for people aged 65 and over and for people under 65 in who are considered to be ‘at risk’.
If you have not already done so, please book your appointment now.
If you have not already signed up for text alerts, then please do so, as we will send out text messages to everyone who would like them each year.
Please support your GP surgery by having your flu vaccination at the surgery. Other providers may tell you that you are supporting your surgery by having it done elsewhere – unfortunately this is not the case; this generates extra administration work for us and reduces our funding.
We are offering booked flu clinics and drop in clinics throughout the season at the surgery.
Flu vaccination is safe and effective. It’s offered every year through the NHS to help protect people at risk of getting seriously ill from flu.
The NHS website provides information about who can get it, how to book and where to get the vaccine.
