• • Dr Timothy J Hardwick – BSc MBBS DCH DTM&H MRCGP Dip Ther GP Partner
    Dr Hardwick trained in London where he qualified in 1990. He joined the practice in 1999. He has worked for a year in New Zealand and for two years as a V.S.O. volunteer in a rural hospital in Africa.  His particular interest is diabetic medicine and is a trainer for GP registrars.
  • Dr Vivien R Smellie – MB BS Bsc DCH DRCOG DFFP GP Partner
    Dr Smellie trained in London where she qualified in 1992. She joined the practice in 1998 and became a partner in January 2003. Her special interests include women’s health (menstrual problems, menopause and family planning). She is qualified to fit intrauterine devices and subdermal implants for contraception and qualified to take endometrial biopsies for the investigation of menstrual problems.
  • Dr Catherine E Archibald – MMBS MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFFP GP Partner
    Dr Archibald trained in London where she qualified in 1996. She joined the practice in 2005 as a partner. Her special interests include dermatology and paediatrics. She is also a GP trainer.
  • Dr Chin J Whybrew – MA MB BChir MRCGP DCH DRCOG DPD GP Partner
    Dr Chin Whybrew trained in Cambridge where she qualified in 1997. She joined the practice as a partner in 2010. Her special interests include dermatology (for which she holds the diploma in practical dermatology) and paediatrics, including bedwetting. She also holds dermatology training sessions for other clinicians.
  • Dr Ben T Soden – MBBS MRCP MRCGP DRCOG GP Partner
    Dr Soden trained in London, qualifying in 2001. He joined the practice in 2012, having trained in hospital medicine, particularly gastroenterology, for a number of years prior to entering general practice.
  • Dr Esther Z Annis – MBChB DRCOG MRCGP Salaried GP
    Dr Annis qualified from Leicester University in 1992 and joined the practice in 2003 as a Salaried GP. She works half time and her special interests include rheumatology and osteoporosis.
  • Dr Jo V Johnson – BSc. MBBS. DRCOG. MRCGP Salaried GP
    Dr Johnson trained at St Mary’s Hospital in London where she qualified in 1998 and joined the practice here in 2006 initially as a retainer but currently as a 4 session salaried GP.
  • Dr Katie Field MRCGP, MBBCh
    Salaried GP
    Dr Field trained in Cardiff, and qualified as a GP in Gloucestershire. She works 6 sessions at the surgery, having started in 2020, and is in training to start minor ops. She also works part-time currently in the Forest of Dean.
  • Dr Stephanie Callaghan – BA. MBBS. MRCGP Salaried GP
    Dr Callaghan trained in Newcastle where she qualified in 2015. She joined the practice in 2020 having completed her GP training in Birmingham. She works 6 sessions a week at the practice.
  • Dr Ciaran Conway –BMedSci, BMBS, DRCOG, DCH, MSc, FRCGP Salaried GP
    Dr Conway trained in Nottingham where he qualified in 2011. He has worked in London and Bath before joining the practice in 2021. His special interest is medical education, in which he has a master’s degree, and he is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol.
  • Dr Sophie Mistry – BSc MBChB MRCGP Salaried GP
    Dr Mistry qualified from The University of Bristol in 2012. She joined the surgery in 2020 and works as a salaried GP. Prior to joining general practice, she spent a year teaching medical students and three years working in emergency medicine in New Zealand.
