We have now offered an initial vaccination invite to all patients aged 70+. We are in the process of inviting and vaccinating those patients aged 65-69 (cohort 5) and hope to have offered an initial invite to all of them by Friday 19th February. We will then start to invite those eligible patients aged 16-64 with underlying health conditions.
We are also starting to plan for inviting patients for their 2nd vaccinations. We are aware that other vaccination services are pre-booking patients already for their second vaccination, and want to reassure all patients who have already had their first vaccination that we will be in contact with them to book their appointment. We are expecting these invites to be released at the end of February. They will mainly be via text message or direct phone call due to the last minute notice of vaccination delivery, making it challenging to send letters.
