Gloucestershire Health and Care Information and Education Service

Gloucestershire Health and Care Information and Education Service supports people with memory concerns and those who are awaiting assessment. As part of ‘Managing Memory Together’, they host online information sessions for carers, family and friends supporting someone with dementia to learn more about dementia and learn more about coping strategies.

During February and March they are hosting online sessions for people in the early stages of dementia to learn about their diagnosis and provide them with the opportunity to develop ways to stay well. These are running alongside sessions for carers.

Please see the 2 programmes of events attached.

The Information and Education Service also support the helpline – telephone 0800 694 8800 where anyone can call to seek advice in relation to memory and dementia.

If you know anyone who may benefit from joining our sessions, or having our telephone number to access support, please do share.
